The megastar of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan has been termed with different names like Mahanayak, Shahenshah and an acting institute of Bollywood. The living legend, who is also fondly called as Big B, has been entertaining us for almost five decades.

Senior Bachchan, who ruled our hearts for so long, has won recognition not only in India but across the globe. At the age of 75, Senior Bachchan is one of the busiest actors and is doing one of the biggest projects of Bollywood.

Here’s a look at his film slate for this and the next year…

102 Not Out

Directed by Oh My God! fame director, Umesh Shukla, 102 Not Out will feature Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. He plays the character of a 102-year old guy. Based on the Gujarati play by the same name, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor essays the role of Amitabh Bachchan’s son, who is 75-year old. The story of the film revolves around the 102-year-old man trying to break the oldest person record in the world, which, in the film, is held by a Chinese Man.

Thugs of Hindostan – November 7, 2018

Based on the novel, Confession of Thugs, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Thugs Of Hindostan is expected to be high on action and will gave you a larger-than-life experience on the silver screen. Directed by Dhoom 3 director, Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film is made on a lavish budget and also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in key roles. It is set to hit the screens during the festive season of Diwali this year.

Brahmastra – August 15, 2019

Made on a whopping budget of Rs 100 crore, the Karan Johar production venture features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in key roles. While Amitabh Bachchan might be seen playing the role of a Genie in the film, Mouni Roy will impress us with her negative avatar. The first part of the trilogy is set to release during the Independence Day weekend in 2019.

By looking at the slate, we must say that Amitabh Bachchan has one of the most exciting line-ups in store.
