The film’s teaser poster has been released. Ranveer is seen in the uniform of a policeman in the poster. For the first time Ranveer will appear in such a look. Let us tell you that Ranveer Singh’s film will be named Simmba. Ranveer Singh, while sharing his poster on Twitter, wrote that, “Sangram Bhalerao AKA Simmba”. Ranveer will be seen in the role of Sangram Bhalerao in the film. The poster should be clear that he will be in the role of a gimmicky policeman and will essay the role of a corrupt police official and Shetty thinks he is best suited for the role.

Let us tell you that for the first time in the history of Bollywood, two legendary film makers have joined hands and have decided to make a film together. The film, which will be produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, will be released on 28th December 2018.

This film is an official remake of Telugu film Temper. In the film Temper, the junior NTR and Kajal Agarwal were in the lead role but the heroine is not yet finalized for this remake. Shetty has bought the right of NTR’s Telugu film, the filmmaker says that it won’t be an exact remake. “Around 20 per cent of the original story will be retained; the rest will be amended to suit our audience. We will start rolling next year,” he said.

Shetty has averted clash with Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan’s Kedarnath and SRK’s dwarf film by pushing the release date of his film a week later.
Moustache, shades and police uniform will definitely remind you of Chulbul Pandey.
Karan Johar had tweeted,”BIG ANNOUNCEMENT tomorrow morning!!!! Extremely excited about this collaboration!!!! Watch this space…..”
